Olympic Update
Keller Ground Engineering have already taken the baton for the 2012 Olympics
by carrying out the first piling project in East London.
The basketball and gymnastic arena will be located inside the Millennium Dome
which sits on some 11,000 driven Cast Insitu Piles installed in 1998. The new
arena will be founded on a combination of driven cast insitu, pre-cast and rotary
drilled minipiles which have been installed within the dome late in 2005.
Already this year two major piling projects are on site to provide new warehousing
on the site of the old Beckton Gasworks for businesses re-locating from the Olympic
